Get up in the morning, still sore from yesterday's long hike. Make some peanut butter on toast with a cup of tea.
Charge camera battery nearly expleted from yesterday's shoot, and clean camera lenses.
Hop into the vehicle and drive to our destination for the day, in today's case it's near the local dump.
Get to the location, work on getting some shots of a forest floor covered in trash dumped by birds grabbing garbage from the dump across the road.
I wade through thousands upon thousands of plastic bags, bones, diapers, thrown pout plastic containers and old toys. Oh this is magical....
The birds welcome my presence by throwing trash at me from the trees above, how nice of them.
After about an hour I still feel like I'm not done, I start making my way back to the road area, I set up a shot with the bones of an animal surrounded by trash. Great imagery.
*scratch scratch* sounds from the area next to me. Aww, how cute, it's a baby bear cub the size of a small dog. *runs out of woods* Dammit, didn't get my bones shot.
Some time passes, I walk back to my setup with backup keeping watch, she watches for mommy bear while I continue shooting. The small bears are up a tree a fair distance away.
I get my shots, satisfied I decide it's time to go, still no sign of mother bear. Oh wait, spoke too soon, there she is on the other side of the bush in front of us! "K, time to go. LET'S GO!"
Back out the woods with us, no sign of any more interest from the bears. Satisfied, partially, I decide it's time to go, live to love and photograph another day....
I celebrated with ice cream tonight.

If my house was on fire what would be the one thing I would take with me? My camera, so I could take photographs of it!
