'Downtown Scene' by Wolfe-GTP 'Downtown Scene' by Wolfe-GTP
I couldn't have asked for a better set of conditions for this photo, on the left we have one of my favorite buildings in vernon (couple more shots in my gallery), on the right you have christmas lights (squee, my favs of winter), and in the middle joining them you have a great sunset. The powerlines also draw me in more.

That all summed up:

:3 !

Oh.. my god. This is absolutely unbelievably gorgeous.... I can't even put it into words. I wish this were a print, because I'd want one sobadly. And prints never interest me. Thank you so much for this... O.O

wow, thanks ^_^ i've considered using the prints account, but i'm still a bit lost in it's process. Someday when I get a bit more time i'll do a little more research in it.

I love this photo, seems very surreal and nothing like the city that it holds. :tux:

Wow, this is pretty gorgeous!! Did you use HDI?

nope, never could get HDI to do what I wanted. This image is made up of 4 images. one image makes up the building on the left, then the camera was panned right to get the otherside. 2 images were made of the proper exposures for the buildings, then 2 more images were made using the same 2 originals with the proper exposure of the sky. Then it was just a matter of mask layers to merge them all.
